We started Box City: Minecraft Edition on a “Bedrock” or “Pocket Edition” server to enable compatibility with the greatest number of devices (phones, tablets, consoles, and Windows 10 PCs), and due to popular demand we’ll be adding the ability to connect to a Java Edition server in the next few days.
